Job Description:

An Assembler works as an effective member of a team to assemble product in a timely manner according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality guidelines to produce quality products. This position requires the ability to complete routine operations on a continual basis. The D2 position is for Thursday - Saturday, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

All Assembly positions start out at $9.00/hr with opportunity for advancement through the Production Career Path developed to reward for focused, high quality work.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform a specific step of the production process as part of a team, according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and training to produce quality product.

  • Inspect the quality of the materials and work in process.

  • Produce product in a timely manner as outlined by department supervision and management

  • Operate any equipment, tools, fixtures, etc. needed to perform the assigned job.

Experience and Skills:

  • Able to perform routine tasks on a continuing basis.

  • Able to correctly use required tools, fixtures, presses, machines, etc. involved in the assembly process.

  • Able to correctly assemble according to instructions, engineering drawings, and training.

  • Able to recognize quality problems with materials and work in process.

  • Able to complete an assembly step in a timely manner as outlined by department supervision and management.

  • Good work attendance and dependability.
