Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Plumber. The hours for this role are 6am - 3:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is $30.62 per hour. What you’ll do:

The Plumber will install, maintain and repair gas, water, air, vacuum, plumbing, heating and sewer systems at our onsite facility, which supports various user groups for a variety of life support, airto-air refueling, and personal survival equipment systems.

In this function you will:

• Install, maintain and repair gas, water, air, vacuum, plumbing, heating and sewer systems.

• Use a variety of hand and power tools common to the trade for cutting pipe, connecting pipe with fittings and fixtures, and sealing joints.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with fire hydrants, sprinkler systems, pumps, valves, and bathroom equipment.

• Perform a variety of duties related to plumbing including brazing, soldering, caulking, sweating, packing, and sealing

• All other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution is required

• Must possess a current Journeyman’s card

• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 70 miles of Davenport, IA to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee

• Must demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of plumbing.

• Must be skilled in the use of all tools and equipment needed for performance of job duties.

• Must possess good problem solving skills.

• Must be able to read and evaluate sketches, blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions.

• Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills and be able to get along with co-workers.

• Must be able to lift 30 lbs frequently, 50 lbs occasionally, and 100 lbs rarely.

• Must be able to frequently perform overhead work

• Must be able to work with limited supervision
