Danaher Corporation Logistics Clerk - Overnight in Coralville, Iowa

Shift: Overnights Sunday-Thursday 11pm - 8am

During COVID-19 Shift Divisions this position will be assigned a Sunday-Thursday 10pm - 6am shift

Timely shipping of IDT products to customers, includes picking, packing, verifying customer orders also performs other shipping related duties include consolidating packages / prepare manifest. Filing EEI ( Electronic Export Information) . Delivery of package to Local Customers and Eastern Iowa Airport when necessary. Using SAP software also having to use repetitive motion.

Essential Functions:

  • Creates current and future shipping manifests

  • Picks, packs, verifies, and processes customer orders using various software suites

  • Consolidates packages destined for specific customers

  • Prepares and processes small package shipments for personnel outside of the Logistics Group

  • Manages department inventory and performs cycle counting

  • Notifies Customer Care and Key Accounts personnel of incomplete/inaccurate customer addresses

  • Makes Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings

  • Delivers packages to local customers and to the Eastern Iowa Airport, when necessary

Education, Licensure, Certification, Registration

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Valid Iowa driver’s license required

Professional Experience:

  • Previous shipping experience preferred

  • Previous experience with shipping software suites preferred

  • Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred

Physical Requirements:

Exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently
