Job Statement

The Human Resources Business Partner plays a crucial role in supporting MediRevv?s mission by helping our leaders think strategically about people, company and culture. This position will help leaders assess needs and develop solutions in areas such as workforce and succession planning, organizational design, performance management, employee relations, recruitment, retention, compensation, career development and leader coaching. The Human Resources Business Partner must understand and help translate both our enterprise mindset and business priorities into a plan that supports our rapidly growing business, unique culture and company values.

Job Duties

An effective Human Resources Business Partner will exemplify the MediRevv Mindset by helping the organization on a whole achieve balance between partners, people, and performance through:

  • Develop and enact HR policies that support business objectives

  • Analyze trends related to hiring, employee morale and retention, and employee relations with members of the HR team and assigned leaders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and align HR efforts with company goals related to profitability and performance

  • Provide consulting with assigned leaders on employee relations

  • Develop a deep understanding of your assigned leaders and team(s), their situations, and, most importantly, their needs to better develop mutually defined solutions to problems

  • Review and analyze your assigned leaders and teams? goals and metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve individual and team performance, retention, and employee experience

  • Actively partner, coach & develop assigned leaders and team members

  • Provide management coaching to build leadership capabilities to address and resolve employee issues, ensuring a balance in representing all parties' interests

  • Monitor the "pulse" of employees and develop and execute on initiatives to ensure a high level of employee engagement and a positive employee experience

  • Be the go-to person for employee related questions for your assigned leaders and teams on just about anything including local office policies, procedures, systems, benefits, compensation, leaves of absence, etc.

  • Work with other members of the HR team to outline the organization?s HR goals, identify opportunities to improve processes, and provide recommendations to improve employee morale and boost performance

  • Directly interact with employees on employee concerns and potential areas of improvement, which can influence new HR initiatives

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations when needed.

  • Manage & lead internal communications to your assigned leaders and teams on all things HR to ensure understanding and buy-in

  • Assist talent management with hiring and onboarding of new employees, particularly leaders, and acquainting them with the company practices, culture and business

  • Maintain positive relationships with leaders and employees to promote our culture of open communication

  • Collaborate directly with other HR team members to gather data, introduce new programs, and ensure the needs of employees and leaders are communicated

  • Ensure that the programs and processes being implemented to their business partners are consistent and aligned with business goals

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Support the work and teams assigned to other HR Business Partners when needed

Job Requirements ? Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

A successful candidate must have proficient knowledge/capabilities in the following areas:

  • Bachelor?s degree in a relevant field (leadership, organizational behavior, psychology) is preferred

  • 5 years of experience in Human Resources required, with 2 years of experience as a business partner preferred

  • A well-rounded HR skill-set: knowledge of fundamental HR practices, employment law, workforce staffing, management practices, organizational effectiveness, compensation, and talent management

  • Exceptional communication, listening, coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to relate well to all kinds of people, up, down, and sideways, inside and outside the organization

  • Strong working knowledge of US federal employment laws and regulations (ADA, EEO, FMLA, FLSA) and the ability to appropriately spot employment risk issues.

  • Strong computer skills including experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive

  • Strong consultative and diagnostic skills

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to interact with others in a professional manner

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities
