At Stanley Consultants, we are inspiring powerful minds and creating bold solutions.We are seeking motivated candidates that enjoy working on challenging projects in a team environment to join our Iowa City office.We are seeking an Engineer-In-Training (0-4 years' experience) holding a Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering or Environmental Scientist (0-4 years' experience) holding a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences or a similar degree. If you are selected, your responsibilities will include technical analysis, field sampling for storm water, soil and groundwater sampling, preparation of pollution prevention and Environmental Site Assessment documents, reports, and cost estimates for environmental, water resources, infrastructure, and energy projects. Some field work and travel may be required. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of environmental engineering design tasks and develop your career towards more technical and/or managerial responsibilities.Background requirements include:Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Environmental Sciences0-4 years of relevant experienceFE certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months for Engineering degreesKnowledge of environmental regulations and policyProficient in Microsoft Office programs - Word and ExcelStrong oral communication and technical writing skillsAbility to work in a team environmentFamiliarity with federal and state government guidelines, policies and procedures is a plusA Great Place to Work: Become a MemberOnce you are hired at Stanley Consultants, you become a member of our member-owned company.
