MediRevv Communications Coordinator in Coralville, Iowa

Title: Coordinator, Communications Wage Category: Hourly, Non-exempt Reports to: Manger, Communications Location: Iowa City, IA Salary range: Commensurate with experience Job Statement The Communications Coordinator develops materials and works collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization to deliver MediRevv messaging both internally and externally. Job Duties A successful Communications Coordinator will champion our brand and culture, possess a natural way with words, and thrive on moving multiple projects forward simultaneously. This person will plan, develop, implement, and assess communication and outreach efforts internally across MediRevv. They will have the ability to connect with people at all levels of the organization, serving as a liaison to other departments. The individual filling this role will exemplify the MediRevv Mindset by helping the organization, on the whole, achieve the right balance among partners, people, and performance.
  • Write and edit a variety of different content to support internal communications efforts across the MediRevv Enterprise

  • Write, schedule, publish, and analyze content across several social media channels

  • Administrator and champion of Boom?MediRevv's intranet. Posting, maintenance, training, etc.

  • Conduct ongoing intranet focus groups, usability testing, and site training

  • Build and maintain cooperative working relationships and regular collaboration/communication (i.e. with Human Resources, Campus Leaders, Operations, Management Team, etc.)

  • Work with the Marketing team to coordinate design and media assets for communications

  • Assist with tradeshows or sales requests, as needed, including helping coordinate printing with vendors

  • Assist, jump in, learn, and grow with your team, who will be simultaneously handling enterprise-wide internal and external communications and brand initiatives

  • Other innovative and progressive marketing/communications projects and duties as assigned

    Job Requirements ? Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    A successful candidate must have proficient knowledge/capabilities in the following areas:

  • Bachelor?s degree desired, or any proven combination of education and experience

  • 2-4 years of writing experience working within high-performing communications/marketing teams

  • Experience working with AP Style

  • Ability to capture the voice, style, and tone of our internal and external brand

  • Savvy, expert-level skills with Microsoft Office Suite products

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, and professionalism to boot

  • Comfort with Marketing Automation Software and CRM

  • Painstaking attention to detail

  • Desire to think and execute creatively

  • Skills to work independently
