GENERAL SUMMARY :
As an integral member of MercyOne’s Business Solutions team, the Program Manager- Operations provides leadership in understanding, supporting and reflecting MercyOne’s Mission. Under the direction of the MercyOne Business Solutions Division Director Business Solutions, the incumbent primarily is responsible for assuring the execution of employer and membership programs and solutions, managing operations of the department, assisting with solution development and managing workflow to successfully deliver significant results to employer relationships and members of MercyOne
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Collaborates with leadership to develop an annual operational plan.
Collaborates with relationship management teams to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of delivery of MercyOne solutions.
Collaborates with business development team colleagues to assist in development of new employer partnerships to further MerycOne’s mission and vision.
Collaborates with leadership to operationalize the Business Solutions business plan, including tracking of appropriate measurements of success.
Develops, maintains and implements projects plans as needed.
Collaborates to develop and maintain product and solution road map.
Supports regional and local efforts to deliver MercyOne employer solutions and programs.
Assists leadership in leading the governance and work group process for Business Solutions.
Coordinates and manages internal communications as needed.
Supports and monitors external marketing and communications plans.
Leads and manages colleagues in operational functions as appropriate
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business required.
At least 3-5 years experience in healthcare, employee benefits, or wellbeing required
Previous operations and leadership experience preferred
Strong project/change management experience preferred
Strong understanding of the continuum of healthcare, wellbeing, and population health concepts
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Collaborative approach to problem solving
Proficient use of databases and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet applications strongly preferred.
Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
BLS certified by the end of the orientation period (approximately six (6) weeks).
Role will be based in Des Moines, IA and candidate must live within the Des Moines area.
Ability to travel throughout the Mercy ACO network area required.
