Such leadership requires constant innovation and renovation, which is so often rooted in our world-class food production standards.As a Millfitter, you will be performing machine shop skills such as turning shafts, milling and cutting keyways. You will be responsible for setting and aligning plant equipment with minimal supervision. The Millfitter is also responsible for following plant safety practices and demonstrating an understanding of proper operation of equipment and tools.Primary Responsibilities:Correctly layout and install steam, acid, sprinkler, slurry and hydraulic piping systemsPerform Arc, Tig, and Mig welding procedures on both plate and pipe. Be able to weld different material thicknessesLayout, fabricate and install all types of spouts, hoppers, transitions, and mechanical guardsPerform all other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications: Education: HS Diploma or GEDExperience (years/type): 1 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military environment OR a two-year technical degree*MUST BE OPEN TO ALL SHIFTSIt is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.To our veterans and separated service members, you're at the forefront of our minds as we recruit top talent to join Nestl Purina.
