Centrum Valley Farms Processing / Packaging Lead in Clearfield, Iowa
Ensure proper daily operation of processing department during shift schedule. Provide necessary resources in daily operation in processing to all employees and verify compliance of company policies within Iowa Cagefree’s LLP food safety regulations.
Monitor and record all daily attendance by 9am
Training of new employees and providing employee assistance as needed
Will need to complete all cooler and warehouse functions in the absence of designated employees. Must be able to cover for employee absences with all aspects of the processing plant.
Be aware and have knowledge of company policies and procedures and ensure that all employees are following the policies as stated.
Insure adherence to food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, completing frequent spot checks and observation throughout the processing shift.
Must maintain processing area in a sanitary manner. Must be able to perform and monitor all daily cleaning within the SOP’s for plant sanitation.
Will complete daily paperwork and maintain department records on a daily basis.
Will complete inventories on products and supplies on a regular basis to ensure supply inventory
Must participate in management’s safety and quality meetings for all department related trainings
Schedule as follows –
Start time – 7am or 8am depending upon Daylight Savings time period to Normal time
Must be able work holidays / weekends
Physical Requirements –
Bending, stooping, carrying, walking most of the scheduled shift, lifting up to 50lbs (20 lbs on a consistent basis)
Will need to complete a forklift/pallet jack certification within company regulations.
Will complete training at facility for the following areas -
Company quality Policy, Food Safety fundamentals, Company personal safety policy, and Applicable company policies and procedures
