We are seeking experienced Service Technician that has experience in all types of hydraulics and electrical components on construction equipment. Primary Responsibilities:Trouble shoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components on construction equipmentUtilize power tools; drill, impact wrench, air ratchet, grinders etc.Utilize hand tools of many sortsFill out paper work and time cardsRequirements:Minimum of 5 years of experienceVocational education / training preferredMust have your own basic hand tools and some power toolsStrong mechanical aptitudeDetail and quality orientedAble to understand and follow verbal and written instructionsAbility to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematicsKnowledge of basic hydraulics and 12 & 24 volt electrical systemsAble to work independentlyAble to operate plasma cutterAble to operate welder ( mig and arch welding )Able to use oxygen/acetylene torchMust possess fabricating skillsAvailability to work certain amount of overtime on short noticeLifting ability up to 50 lbs.This posting is for a position with an independent, authorized Vermeer dealer.
