Elavon is seeking a Sales Training Coordinator, who will develop and deliver impactful sales training and coaching programs relating to the Elavon Sales Process and supporting CRM, Sales Cloud within Salesforce.com. These programs may include specifics about our organization's products and/or services for field sales representatives to drive better business results. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Determines training needs by traveling and interacting with sales representatives, observing sales encounters, studying sales results reports and conferring with sales managers;

  • Designs training classes and training materials, as well as prepares documentation;

  • Conducts seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions with current sales staff;

  • As needed, monitors and evaluates new or existing sales training programs, assesses results, and implements enhancements to ensure maximum effectiveness of the training programs;

  • Prepares new sales representatives by working with L&D to conduct orientation to sales process, corporate products, and/or service and provides resources and assistance to on-board new sales representatives;

  • Delivers onsite and field training events/sessions via seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions to current sales staff and partners with individual departments to outline expectations

  • Coordinates training tools, schedules, and agendas;

  • Tracks metrics regarding attendance, satisfaction, and use of training, and utilizes a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, web-based learning tools, and practices to ensure the maximum effectiveness of training programs;

  • Monitors sales representatives’ performance and responses to training, as well as identifies and evaluates opportunities for improvement and follows up with sales representatives to ensure they are accomplishing their agreed-upon steps to improve their sales results;

  • Works with channel performance leaders and sales managers on innovative design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs, as well as ongoing learning opportunities across the channels in support of Elavon’s needs and goals; and

  • Leads the channel performance committee, designed to create consistency in the sales process across channels and assesses trend reporting to identify action plans needed to achieve both revenue and compliance goals, as well as provides overall channel direction to drive new lead generation and prospecting talent, sales force database management, sales reporting, and production/control of presentations and proposals.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Three to five years of sales training experience

  • Ability to travel 20% of the time

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Outside sales experience, with a high level of product knowledge
