Internal Audit Analyst

CRST International, Inc. is seeking a detail oriented and self-motivated Internal Audit Analyst to be located in our Cedar Rapids, Iowa office.

Job Summary: The Internal Audit Analyst is responsible for overseeing various internal audits for CRST International and its’ adopting companies, and providing a systematic, disciplined approach to the evaluation and improvement of the effectiveness of risk management, control and organizational processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform Internal Audit function in a manner consistent with the Standards and Guidance of the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) of Internal Auditing, the Audit Committee expectations and the Internal Audit Charter.

  • Perform the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations

  • Obtain, analyze and evaluate documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc.

  • Evaluate audit findings, prepare and present results of audit work and makes recommendations to Management.

  • Communicate with all levels of Management regarding company risk, audit needs and findings. Follow up on actions needed as determination of findings.

  • Live the CRST principles; be involved in cross-functional efforts as the Standards allow.

  • Travel as necessary.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • 6-12 months of previous experience in a related field required

  • A degree in a related field required

  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office

  • CPA/CIA license preferred

  • Must be highly detail oriented, possess excellent critical and analytical skills and sound independent judgement

  • Must possess good communication skills to maintain open dialog with multiple departments as needed
