Finance - Cash Applications Team Leader (Cedar Rapids, IA)
Accountable for providing leadership and development to the Cash Application and Disposition functions within the Cash Applications Team. This leader will serve as a resource for the Cash Applications Team, Finance and other core functions and team members company wide. This leader must follow and adhere to the GreatAmerica Principles and GreatAmerica Experience Standards.
Oversees all duties of a Cash Applications Specialists
Responsible for the teams Outlook calendar, time off requests, and approves timecards for the Cash Team
Maintains team performance reporting for staffing metrics, manual process reporting and performance reviews, sharing as appropriate
Assist team trainer(s) with training plan (task calendar) based on individual performance development plans
Organize and develop content for the weekly team meetings
Provide coaching and mentorship which includes, but is not limited to, daily assistance as a dedicated resource and one-on-ones to evaluate progress of position, ability to focus on business needs, efficiencies, and individual goals and personal development.
Leads and challenges the team to continuously improve its process efficiency and performance effectiveness
Manage initiatives impacting the Cash Applications Team and all functions within the team
Assist with projects related to the Cash Applications capability within the Billing & Invoicing Domain
Strong cross-functional knowledge within all functions of Cash Applications and openly communicates with all team members and other Leaders.
Ensure the success of others through inspiration and motivation.

Education: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of four years of directly related work experience
