Job Description
We have an immediate opening in our Brooklyn Office for an Accounting Clerk to complete a broad variety of accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
Enter all shop locations work orders (paper, email, and computer files).
List shop employee's hours listed on the work order, supplies used and corresponding part number(s).
Process vehicle inspection sheets received from all locations.
Process invoices and packing slips.
E-mail copies of invoices needing a signature of approval to appropriate department contact.
Process A/P unapproved invoice entries and have appropriate person approve.
Participate in Monthly cut-off activities including purging of packing slips, return files, reconcile A/R statements and check status of invoices on hold.
Review purchase orders.
Perform annual inventory data entry.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent (experience may be substituted for education).
Detail oriented.
Able to prioritize and balance multiple responsibilities.
