Job Summary: Assists physician, Health Coach, and clinic staff with clerical/clinical functions for patients requiring chronic disease coordination. Provides professional clinical skills in a defined outpatient clinic setting. Provides patient care activities to patients of diverse ages as assigned. Supports patient and family needs. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Training: Health Coach training within 1 year of hire required Licensures/ Certifications: Possession of a current RN license in the State of Iowa. CPR certification required. Mandatory reporting certified or within 180 days of hire required Experience: Two years previous experience in a clinic/providers office setting preferred. Knowledge of clinic policies and procedures, principles of anatomy and physiology, pharmacology and disease process, health insurance and provider rules and regulations. Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand HIPAA regulations and privacy of patient information. Proficient ability to use computer.
