From bike trails and interstate highways to drinking water and wastewater, we have supported municipal and private projects from start to finish since the 1930s.iWe are collaborative, we are impactful, and together as owners-we make a differenceResponsibilitiesThe work you will doThe BIM Manager focuses on the areas of Digital Design technical support, with a primary focus on championing the use of Autodesk Revit and BIM 360, specifically in the areas of training, 2D and 3D family creation and organization, Revit implementation strategizing with project teams, and research and development. The BIM Manager will spend approximately a quarter of his or her time working as the BIM Leader on billable projects.Completes BIM System training activities:Develops training programsMaintains training documentationTrains new employeesTrains in house support staffEvaluates, interviews and performs assessment testing of interview candidates in conjunction with the CAD Manager and Digital Design ManagerAssists with departmental budgeting for BIM/CAD Software in conjunction with the Digital Design Manager and CAD Manager.Continually assesses, evaluates, and suggests areas of improvement with the firmis current production workflow using BIM and Visualization applications.QualificationsWhat you bringSkills and Knowledge / Education and Experience:Bacheloris degree in BIM Modeling or Management, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology or related degree required4 years of experience in CAD/BIM design with an emphasis on 3D design and BIM process requiredExpert with industry standard BIM/CAD software package required; Autodesk and Bentley products, specifically Autodesk software preferredPrior experience working for an engineering firm requirediStrong knowledge and understanding of IT systemsFamiliarity with programming or data sciences a benefit, Dynamo, Revit API, Eagle Point Pinnacle or other standard BIM/CAD software packages preferred Strong written and personal communication skills with experience in technical document writingPersonality and Cultural Fit:Honesty and IntegrityCommitment to learningRespect and care for employeesOpennessClient focusedIndependent yet collaborativeResults orientedCreative problem solverPositive attitudeCooperation / teamworkFlexibleDependableBenefits We tried to narrow it down to just 5 reasons to work at MSA, but we couldnit stop ourselves!
