Job Description:Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Postdoctoral Researcher will work on projects funded by the U.S. Departments of Justice and focused on the implementation and evaluation of criminal justice programming within the Iowa Department of Corrections. The focus of the research includes both feasibility and acceptability studies, as well as randomized controlled trials, evaluating the impact of criminal justice programs on outcomes such as violence, criminal activity, family functioning, and reintegration into communities after incarceration. The focus of the research is also on investigating mechanisms of change of the interventions.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in psychology or a related field; advanced proficiency in quantitative strategies such as structural equation modeling, multi-level modeling, longitudinal designs, and propensity score analysis
Ph.D. in clinical or counseling psychology
Proposed Start Date:June 1, 2021
Proposed End Date or Length of Term:May 31, 2022
