ALGONA MANOR CARE CENTER INC Housekeeping Aide in ALGONA, Iowa
Full Time, every other weekend, every other holiday required. Hours are 5:30 am - 2 pm. Health Benefits available after 60 days of employment. Must be dependable and able to work well with others and the elderly. Must be able to pass background check.
Plan work schedules to ensure adequate service in all areas. Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of the nursing home; recommend painting, repairs, furnishings, and relocation of equipment and reallocation of space to improve sanitation, appearance, and efficiency. Report any unsafe conditions. Check all rooms before a new resident is admitted to see that the room meets nursing home standards. Workers are required to perform the tasks of washing, drying, distributing, and storing laundry and linens used in the facility. Daily washing chores, as well as determining clothing that needs mending and setting those clothes aside for the mending person to repair. Will be responsible for working in and around patient care areas and the common area of the facility. Work will be on a routine basis, as well as on an as-needed basis in the event of needs for immediate cleaning of any area.
