    Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver the best possible nursing care in LRH’s employee and patient-focused setting.

    SUMMARY:

    The Occupational Health Nurse is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for providing and coordinating the required health testing for Lakes Regional Healthcare employees and for managing the Occupational Health needs of the community. Administers the hospital's safety program in a manner that establishes and fosters a safety conscious work culture. Coordinates the Occupational Health Services for the community which include: Drug and Alcohol Program, Respiratory Protection Program, Post Offer health Assessments, Immunizations, Wellness screens, Work Comp Case Management and Ergonomic Evaluations in coordination with Sports Rehab. Must have the availability to cover occasional vacation requests.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    G raduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN degree preferred. One-three years staff RN experience required. Previous experience in employee health, occupational health, or worker’s compensation desired. Working knowledge of OSHA and Worker’s Compensation Law desired.

    CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSURE &/OR REGISTRATIONS:

    Qualified candidate holds a current Iowa RN license and current certifications in BLS and Mandatory Reporting of Child and Dependent Adult or willingness to obtain within first six months of hire. Certified Breath Alcohol Technician and Drug Test collection preferred.
