Description

We are in the market for a Staff Accountant in the Professional Services industry. The individual will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month end close.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll teams

• Oversee the Accounts Receivable functions, including the billing process and processing of payments

• Manage the Accounts Payable functions, encompassing entry of bills and issuance of checks

• Forecast cash requirements for clients and ensure the proper recording of revenue and expenses

• Prepare monthly journal entries and financial analysis reports for clients

• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month-End Close, NetSuite, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform tasks effectively

Requirements

• Must have a strong understanding of and experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in Bank Reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed

• Solid experience with General Ledger maintenance and management is required

• Must be able to prepare and post Journal Entries with accuracy and efficiency

• Experience with QuickBooks for managing and paying bills, invoicing clients, and conducting payroll functions

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial

• Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion

• Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment is necessary.
